Placed on the first or last line of a bio, a frame works like a header rule and gives the whole block a defined edge. You can also split one in half and put your name in the middle if you want a nameplate rather than a divider.

Can I paste a frame exactly as it is?
Yes — that is the point. Copy the whole thing and paste it on its own line. If you want text inside it, put your name between the two halves rather than after the frame.

Longer frames overflow a narrow screen. Check it in the bio builder preview, which shows the same line width Instagram uses, and trim a segment or two until it fits on one line.
