Brackets and frame characters wrap text so it reads as a label rather than a sentence. The CJK forms — corner brackets 「」『』 and the heavier lenticular brackets 【】〔〕 — are the ones people reach for, because they are visually stronger than ASCII parentheses without being noisy.
【 name 】 reads like a heading; 「 one-line bio 」 reads like a quiet aside. The one rule that matters is to copy both halves: opening and closing brackets are separate characters, so grab each of them and place one on either side of your text.

Do I have to copy the opening and closing bracket separately?
Yes. Each half is its own character, so tap the opening one, paste it, then come back for the closing one. Keeping the pair matched — 「 with 」, 【 with 】 — is what makes the result look deliberate.
Do CJK brackets render reliably outside Asia?
They are very widely supported because they ship with the CJK ranges included in most system fonts. Spacing can vary slightly between devices — some fonts give them a full-width cell — but they almost never fall back to a box.
