Shape symbols
Geometric shapes are the cleanest way to bullet a bio. Circles (●○◍), squares (■□◆), diamonds (◈◇) and triangles (▶▷) all sit neatly at the start of a line and give a block of text visible structure.
Repeating one shape down the left edge of a bio turns loose sentences into a list, which is worth more than decoration on a profile that has real information to convey. Hollow shapes feel light and secondary; filled ones carry weight, so you can build a hierarchy with nothing but two variants of the same form.

Frequently asked questions
How do I turn my bio into a bulleted list?
Start every line with the same shape — ◆ works well — and press return between items. Instagram keeps single line breaks inside a bio, so one item per line renders exactly as you typed it.
Should I use filled or hollow shapes?
Use filled shapes (●■◆) for the lines you most want read and hollow ones (○□◇) for supporting detail. Two weights of the same shape create a hierarchy without introducing a second symbol.
