Privacy policy

Font Palette(the “site”) is a special character and unicode font tool that works without an account or a login. This policy explains what the site handles and how.

1. What is collected, and how

  • On-device storage— your favorites, recently copied characters and theme preference are written to your browser’s local storage. They are never transmitted to or collected by our servers, and clearing your browser data removes them.
  • The feedback form— we process the message you type. To limit spam and abuse, your IP address and the time of submission are used transiently during delivery, and accepted messages are recorded in the operator’s notification channel and a spreadsheet. No name, email or other personal detail is required.
  • Automatic collection (advertising) — the third-party vendors listed below may set cookies or use similar technologies to serve advertising.

2. Cookies and third-party advertising

The site may display third-party advertising, including Google AdSense and Kakao AdFit, to cover its running costs. The following applies:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and to other websites (this includes Google’s DoubleClick DART cookie).
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of third-party vendor cookies collectively at aboutads.info.
  • Blocking cookies in your browser does not affect the core functions of the site — copying characters continues to work.

3. Retention

Feedback is used only to improve the service and is destroyed once that purpose is served. Data stored on your device can be removed at any time through your browser settings or by clearing your library. Advertising cookies are retained according to each vendor’s own policy.

4. Sharing with third parties

The site does not sell user information. Relevant data may be passed to the services named above in the course of serving advertising (Google, Kakao) and operating the feedback pipeline.

5. Your choices

  • You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings.
  • You can clear your library to delete everything stored on your device.
  • You can request access to, or deletion of, feedback you submitted by writing to the address below.
