Cursive text generator

Cursive turns your text into flowing, connected handwriting β€” the single most requested look for aesthetic Instagram profiles. It reads as elegant and personal rather than typed.

The characters come from the mathematical script block. A handful of letters live outside the main run and were assigned their own code points long ago, so the result you see here is stitched together from both β€” which is exactly why it renders correctly instead of showing gaps.

Frequently asked questions

Does Cursive work with non-Latin alphabets?

No. Cursive only covers the Latin alphabet and digits, because Unicode never defined matching shapes for other scripts. Anything else β€” Korean, Japanese, Cyrillic, emoji β€” passes through unchanged. If you need a style that works everywhere, use the spacing, strikethrough, underline or upside-down families.

Can I paste Cursive text into Instagram?

Yes. These are ordinary Unicode characters, not a font file, so Instagram, TikTok, Discord, X and most other apps accept them in bios, display names and captions. Nothing is installed and nothing expires.

Some letters show up as empty boxes (β–‘).

A box means the device rendering your text has no glyph for that character β€” the text itself is fine. Older Android builds and some in-app browsers are the usual culprits. Preview your text in the app you are pasting into before you save it, and fall back to a simpler style if it breaks.
